Every year, Georgia Thespians invites various guests to participate in our conference.  If you would like to be a guest and can give a workshop, judge, sell merchandise, etc, then please review the information and links below.

Guest Artists & IE Adjudicators

Deadline passed.

Georgia Thespians are very excited that you are going to be a part of our conference. Our schedule offers flexibility for offering workshops throughout the conference.

Please read the contract and check all available times that work for you to present your workshops. Once we have all information, we will begin to build our workshop schedule.

Georgia Thespians use the following fee structure to determine how Guest Artists are compensated:

Tier I: In-Radius
These presenters travel from within a 50-mile radius from Columbus, GA. They do not receive travel or hotel expenses but will receive meals so that they can eat while at the conference.
Workshop requirements: Four 90-minute workshops ($400); each additional 90-minute workshop ($50).

Tier II: Out-of-Radius
These presenters travel from outside a 50-mile radius but within a 325-mile radius from Columbus, GA. They do receive hotel expenses but do not receive travel expenses. They also receive meals so that they can eat while at the conference.
Workshop requirements: Four 90-minute workshops ($400); each additional 90-minute workshop ($50).

Note: all Tier I and Tier II guest artists are requested to bring all equipment needed for their workshops (ie. Boom boxes, extension cords, keyboards, power strips, etc.)

Tier III: Out-of-State
These presenters travel from outside a 325-mile radius from Columbus, GA. These presenters receive hotel and travel expenses, transportation from the airport to the conference and back, and meals so that they can eat while at the conference. Travel expense cap: $400.
Workshop requirements: Four non-paid 90-minute workshops; each additional 90-minute workshop ($50).

Out-of-State Guest Artists who (for personal or professional reasons) must cancel need to reimburse Georgia Thespians within two weeks for the cost of airfare plus the $20 surcharge.

NOTE: No individual may receive honorariums to exceed $599 in a calendar year.

After arriving in Columbus, GA, Guest Artists will check-in with the Guest Artist registration desk located off the Columbus Marriott lobby.

Please note that Georgia Thespians does not provide lodging for our guests on the Wednesday night before and the Saturday night after conference.
