2019 GA Jr Master Class Presenter

The Georgia Junior Thespian Board is excited to officially announce the 2019 Georgia Junior Thespian Conference Master Class Presenter, Carla Stickler.

Ms. Stickler will be presenting a Master Class for all conference delegates, teaching workshops, and making a special appearance in our Conference Opening Ceremonies. Additionally, each troupe attending conference will have a designated time to take a group picture with Ms. Stickler to commemorate the 2019 Georgia Junior Thespian Conference.

Carla Stickler is a singer, actor, and teacher residing in New York City. She is best known for her performance as Elphaba on Broadway and in the touring production of Wicked. Carla performed the role of Sophie Sheridan across the United States and Canada on the National Tour of Mamma Mia! She also played the role of Liesl in The Sound of Music––Asia Tour in mainland China and Hong Kong. Carla has headlined as a Guest Entertainer onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines and Disney Cruise Lines performing her solo cabaret. She has been honored to work on the readings and workshops for Other World, a new musical from [title of show] writers Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen along with writer and producer Ann McNamee. She holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the arts in Acting and an MA from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education in Theatre Education. Carla is on the Voice Faculty of CAP21/Molloy College and maintains a private voice studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
