Broadway Cares EFA Silent Auction
Back this year, the JSTOs will be holding a silent auction to benefit Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS. Items to include signed and unsigned memorabilia from Broadway musicals. Be sure to bring some spending cash to bid on some incredible items. These items will be displayed in the Theatre Lobby.
JSTO will also be selling Broadway Cares wristbands for $1.
Lunch will be provided for directors at The All Shook Up Young@Part® Director’s Luncheon, sponsored by Theatrical Rights Worldwide. Besides lunch, you will have the change to hear about TRWs latest works for middle schoolers and have the opportunity to win a free license for your school.

Georgia Thespians Policy
There are troupe directors who miss the deadline to make changes or they just don’t want to pay the late fees and they make a bad choice to disregard the rules and policies of our conference. They decide to bring another student in place of a registered student who can no longer attend or bring a student who was never registered in the first place as a last minute addition. We realize that a registered attendee who no longer can attend will lose their money, but understand there is more than just money at stake. If something happened that involved the new student or adult that we do not have an agreement form on file, we would have to report that action to the principal of the school and the Educational Theatre Association in order to clear us of any liability. This unprofessional decision made by the troupe director could have severe consequences.
“Minute To Give It”
This year, the JSTOs will be trying a new fundraiser entitled Minute To Give It. During Minute to Give It, attendees on each track will have one minute to put as many coins and dollar bills into buckets carried around by the JSTO. All proceeds will go toward funding the brand new Junior Thespian Conference Grants. Students in need will have the opportunity to apply for the grants via application. The grant covers the student’s registration fee allowing them to attend the Georgia Junior Thespian Conference free of charge. This event will take place prior to performances of Peter and the Starcatcher on each track.
Schools participating in the Opening Number may pick up registration materials at 8:15am in the front lobby of the school. The Opening Number rehearsal will begin in the Gymnasium at 8:30am.

Buses: Buses may drop off attendees at the front of Warner Robins High School. However, all buses should park across the street at the McConnell Talbert Stadium which can be accessed by turning onto Martin Luther King Jr Drive. The pedestrian bridge may be used to cross South Davis Drive back to the school.
Cars/Caravans: Cars or caravans may park in the front parking lot of the school or (if space is unavailable) across the street at the McConnell Talbert Stadium which can be accessed by turning onto Martin Luther King Jr Drive. The pedestrian bridge may be used to cross South Davis Drive back to the school.
Photos with F. Michael Haynie
Each troupe in attendance will receive a time slot to have their group photo taken with F. Michael Haynie as a memento of this year’s conference. Photos will be taken during the dinner time slot on each school’s track. Please arrive promptly for your photos. One group photo will be taken. Individual photos or autographs will not be allowed as we will be on a very strict schedule. Further information can be found in your welcome packet upon arrival at conference.
Registration will be located in the main lobby of Warner Robins High School. Please enter using the doors under the main awning of the school. Schools will be able to pick up their registration materials beginning at 8:30am.
If you have attendees who had to drop from the conference at the last minute, please return their neck wallets, name badges, and workshop tickets to the registration desk.
Note that all registered attendees have an assigned seat. Please ensure that your students sit in their correct seats as every seat at conference this year is filled.
In your registration packet, directors should find:
– A Conference T-shirt for each attendee
– A Program for each attendee
– Neck wallet with name badge for each attendee
– A plastic bag of workshop tickets
– A plastic bag with Ribbons for Troupe Members
– A folder with a welcome letter, flyer for the Teacher Conference in August, promotional from the Educational Theatre Association, time slot for photos with F. Michael Haynie during Dinner, and promotional information from our conference sponsors Theatrical Rights Worldwide.
New This Year: Each attendee will receive a pre-packaged bundle which will include their neck wallet, name badge, t-shirt, conference program for easy sorting.
Workshop Ticket Exchange
There will be a booth set up in the gymnasium lobby for students to swap workshop tickets. Please note that tickets available to swap are entirely dependent on tickets available. Students may try to check back throughout the day to see if workshop tickets become available.
