Design Challenge allows student designers a unique chance to collaborate and develop a design concept for a play. Each team member independently focuses on bringing one design aspect to life: scenic, costume, makeup, or properties. Students create models or examples of their work to communicate their ideas effectively. The design prompt is unveiled on a set date, allowing students to work on their designs until the deadline. Presentations of the designs must be uploaded by the specified deadline for evaluation. Design Challenge is a pre-conference program.
