The Georgia Chapter of the Educational Theatre Association continues to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact upon schools, travel, and gatherings. The health and well-being of theatre teachers and students is our first priority. All plans for Georgia Theatre Educator Conference scheduled for August 28 & 29, 2020, remain on track at this time.
Like most non-profit organizations that host events, the Georgia Chapter of the Educational Theatre Association has traditionally had a no refund policy in place for all of its events. But our attendees and members should know that we will not retain conference registration fees without offering attendees consideration and options in the unlikely scenario that the Georgia Theatre Educators Conference is unable to be staged in 2020 due to COVID-19. The Georgia Chapter of the Educational Theatre Association is and always has been an organization that puts the focus of teachers and professionals first; as we plan for our 4th GA EdCon, that focus will not change.

By registering for the Georgia Theatre Educators Conference, you’ll have access to valuable resources, a network of peers, and professional development. Registration fee includes:
- Two-day conference full of professional development workshops.
- Admittance to all panel discussions and keynote speaker presentations.
- Evening cocktail and hors d’oeurve reception.
- Lunch on Friday and Saturday. Hotel guests will receive breakfast if booking their rooms through reserved room block.

We encourage attendees to register during early-bird and regular registration. We can offer a limited on-sight registration option of $275. Contact the registration team for additional details.

Spouse option: If you would like to bring your spouse to the two lunches and the evening reception then choose the $100 spouse add-on in your online registration.
- Online: credit card payment via PayPal
- Offline: check (school, booster, or personal), cash, or money order.
The registration team can also work with attendees to have credit card payment links sent to their school bookkeepers if paying with a school credit card is an option for them. Just reach out to us if you need assistance.
When paying online, you do not need to mail a copy of your completed registration.
When paying offline, please include a copy of your completed registration along with your payment and mail to the address below:

If your bookkeeper needs a new W-9 form, please email email@example.com and request one.
You are not officially registered until your payment has been received. At that time, your online registration status will be changed from “SUBMITTED” to “ACCEPTED.” The Chapter Director and the Chapter Board reserve the right to deny registration to any individual for the safety and general welfare of the conference participants.
Your registration form is your invoice you give to your bookkeeper. The online change from “SUBMITTED” to “ACCEPTED” is your receipt. The webmaster will email you when your registration is accepted.
We are not able to honor emailed requests to confirm receipt of materials.
Attendees must be 21 years of age or older by August 28, 2020.
No infants/small children can be present at any conference space/function, as dictated by the stipulations of our liability insurance policy.
All fees are non-refundable.
