Rebuilding Together

Zoom has been an effective way for us to keep working and stay in touch, but it’s time to break out of our boxes!

Announcing a live and in person opportunity to start the process of rebuilding your theatre programs and skills…together with your colleagues from across the state.

This will be a hand washing, mask wearing, social distancing, CDC guidelines following, comfort level finding one-day event. 

This year we are partnering with Columbus State University Theatre Department and holding our event on their RiverPark campus using their faculty members as some of our instructors and their theatre spaces as our classrooms. Every workshop will be a unique hands-on experience following a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion panel discussion in the morning.

If you want to stay over Friday and or Saturday night, you will need to make reservations at any of the Columbus area hotels. (Rumor has it that there might be evening events sampling Columbus nightlife each night.) 


By registering for the Georgia Theatre Educators Conference, you’ll have access to valuable resources, a network of peers, and professional development. Registration fee includes:

One-day conference full of hands-on professional development workshops and participation in a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion panel discussion.

Regular Registration:
Jun 1, 2021 – Aug 18, 2021

Week of/On site Registration:
Aug 19, 2021 – Aug 28, 2021

Note: All fees are non-refundable. However, fees will be returned if the event is cancelled for any reason.

Payment Options

  • Online: credit card payment via PayPal
  • Offline: check (school, booster, or personal), cash, or money order.

The registration team can also work with attendees to have credit card payment links sent to their school bookkeepers if paying with a school credit card is an option for them. Just reach out to us if you need assistance.

When paying online, you do not need to mail a copy of your completed registration.

When paying offline, please include a copy of your completed registration along with your payment and mail to the address below:

If your bookkeeper needs a new W-9 form, please email and request one.

You are not officially registered until your payment has been received. At that time, your online registration status will be changed from “SUBMITTED” to “ACCEPTED.” The Chapter Director and the Chapter Board reserve the right to deny registration to any individual for the safety and general welfare of the conference participants.

Your registration form is your invoice you give to your bookkeeper. The online change from “SUBMITTED” to “ACCEPTED” is your receipt. The webmaster will email you when your registration is accepted.

We are not able to honor emailed requests to confirm receipt of materials.

No infants/small children can be present at any conference space/function, as dictated by the stipulations of our liability insurance policy.
