If you have a performance piece that runs between 10 and 20 minutes then consider submitting it for our FreeStyle Festival. This is the perfect showcase for student-written works, scene studies, short plays, mime performances, musical theatre dance numbers, puppet shows, and almost anything else that would work well in an intimate setting. We especially hope to showcase student-created works.

FreeStyle Festival is a conference event to showcase student-written works, scene studies, short plays, mime performances, puppet shows, experimental theatre; truly, any type of short performances. FreeStyle provides a performance opportunity for students in a noncompetitive environment and also invites performances that might not fit into another event category. The FreeStyle Festival is open to any troupe registered for and attending the Georgia Thespian Conference.

Troupes may enter more than one event, as space allows. To enter the FreeStyle Festival, complete the entry form and submit the entry(s) along with payment before the deadline. You must complete an entry per performance.

All FreeStyle Festival entries must submit a video link to screen the performance by January 6, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
