Conference Shows

Georgia Thespians is seeking high-quality productions to be showcased at the Georgia Thespian Conference. If your troupe would like the opportunity to share your show with other Thespians, apply to have your show screened for ThesCon. Please review the screening application windows for application dates and deadlines. The Troupe Director must submit all required forms — complete with required signatures and payment — for applications to be considered complete. The Screening Committee will notify the Troupe Director when an application is complete and a troupe’s show has been accepted to be screened.

Please apply early! For 2024, only 60 applications will be accepted.

Submission Process

Each troupe is allowed to have one show screened for ThesCon each year. Our goal is to provide conference attendees with a variety of theatre in regards to genre, style, theme, and scale.

Here’s how to apply for an opportunity to have your show featured in one of our ThesCon performance venues:

1. Complete and electronically submit your Screening Application. Each troupe is allowed one screening of one production per school year. Please apply early.

2. Print your Screening Application and obtain the required signatures.

3. Return your signed Screening Application to the Screening Committee, along with your payment or PayPal receipt. Acceptable forms of payment: school or booster club check, money order, and credit card (via PayPal portal).

All screening application materials must be received by Georgia Thespians before the deadline or before the number of accepted applications reaches 60.

All applying schools will be notified of the screening results in December. See calendar and deadlines for specifics.
