Highlights for 2022 – 2023

Prior to January 5, 2023, Troupe Directors should create an account under New Audience Members at gathespians.booktix.com. 

  • Even if you have an account through Booktix, you must make an account specific to Georgia Thespians. 
  • ALL TROUPE DIRECTORS MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT PRIOR TO SELECTING TICKETS.
  • If you have already created a Georgia Thespians account, you will not need to create a new one.
  • Contact BookTix for forgotten password resets or forgotten usernames.

Details

The Show Ticket Selection Window will open on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 8:00 AM. 

An individualized access code will be delivered to each Troupe Director via email no later than December 1st, 2022. The Troupe Director MUST HAVE THIS ACCESS CODE IN ORDER TO SELECT TICKETS.

If an access code has not been received by Monday, December 5th 2022, please double check your SPAM filter. If a problem still persists, email drew.doss@gathespians.org for assistance. 

Show ticketing will be live from Friday, January 6 at 8:00 AM and will be available through Monday, January 9 at 11:59 PM. Any schools who have not selected their own tickets by the deadline will be assigned tickets for shows. Tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis. SHOWS MAY SELL OUT. Once a show sells out, the ticket link will go inactive, which means an alternate must be chosen. 

If you want in-person help in selecting your troupe’s tickets and navigating BookTix, Drew will be available during Lead-Con 2 on Saturday, January 7th 2023 to help. 

Tickets will be sorted and included in the Troupe Director’s packet for pick up at Thespian Conference registration. Directors should receive a confirmation email from BookTix. If a confirmation email has not been received please check your SPAM filter. If a problem still persists, email drew.doss@gathespians.org.

Changes to ticket orders will not be made prior to Thespian Conference. If changes need to be made, a Ticket Exchange table will be available for directors to switch tickets. The Ticket Exchange table will be open Thursday, February 9, through Saturday, February 11. 

INCENTIVE! Troupe Directors who attend LEAD CON 1 will receive priority access ticketing. In order to qualify, you must attend in-person for Lead Con 1 on September 10th, 2022. Attendance will be taken at Lead Con. For these qualifying Troupe Directors, the Show Ticket Selection Process will open one day early on Thursday, January 5 2023 at 8am allowing them to select their tickets before the general ticket release. The Troupe Director of record with EdTA MUST be the representative in attendance. No exceptions will be made if the Troupe Director cannot attend!
